Upper Arm Tattoos

The upper arm was a popular spot to get a tattoo in the 80s and 90s (see Pamela Anderson, Melanie Griffith, or Angelina Jolie), the outer part of your arm is a great beginner spot. Because it's a combination of muscle and bone, the feeling skews more irritating than anything else. There's also a considerable amount of surface area, making it perfect for larger pieces or even just the start of a sleeve.
