Pietà Tattoos
The Pietà (1498–1499) is a work of Renaissance sculpture by Michelangelo Buonarroti, housed in St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City. The Pietà ('Mercy') is a subject in Christian art depicting the Virgin Mary cradling the dead body of Jesus, most often found in sculpture.
